Organic extra virgin olive oil is directly extracted from an oil press being authorized to produce organic oil. This must result from olive growth applying neither synthesis chemical plant health products nor chemical fertilizers. In order to ensure oil from said olives features neither pesticide residues nor any other health pernicious component to productors and/or consummers, other growth techniques are required. Besides, olives used in organic oil manufacture have been grown under absolute respect to the country state’s environment.
The SENASA and other certifying entities ensure organic extra virgin olive oil complies with all requirements and guarranties at each manufacture process until oil reaches consumers.

Is an ecologic product always more expensive? How much?
Depending on the markets we refer to, there is a price margin difference. This kind of products might be a bit more expensive because we are talking about products requiring a special, absoloutely neutral production process. However, this product’s benefits to our health and to the environment are a long-term investment. This is about thinking of well-being.

This is about being aware of how products we comsume and their manufacture affect our world. We find ourselves facing new times where we stop thinking bout us and start thinking about others as well as about the planet, considering it our big home. By consuming ecologic products we help improving both our health and our planet’s health, thus avoiding global warming increase.
Global warming is a fact. Climate changes are visible: thaw, floods, droughts, storms and hurricanes.
Greenhouse gases (GHGs) are responsible of global warming. Thus, climate change is the result of the human activities that generate gases issuance as follows:
- Industrialized agriculture - 15% of total gases.
- Transport means - 13% of total gases.
- The industry - 20% of total gases.
- The energy supply - 26% of total gases.
Conventional or industrialized agriculture issues 15% of total gases due to deforestation (avoiding chances to keep soil’s coal), large energy consumption, petrol burning, excesive use of chemical fertilizers (which eliminate a large amount of N2O from air) and the so called “shifting cultivation”.
However, by means of organic agriculture gases emissions can be significantly decreased since this method does not apply chemical fertilizers, thus avoiding chemical products production and saving large amounts of energy being used to produce them.
Organic agriculture avoids deforestation and promotes agroforestry.
A change on consumption and nutrition habits will significantly help decreasing gases emissions. Organic agriculture attempts to a change in consumption habits, thus leading to a slow down on processed products and promoting the use of primmary products (grain, oil, etc.).
By supporting organic agriculture we help preventing climate change. If we do not cooperate with gass emission reduction temperature will increase 5º C. This climate change will cause even higher risks.
Given agriculture is responsible of a fifth of gases emission, by means of responsible consumption we can avoid this problem. We simply have to take care of our nutrition choice:
1. Purchasing local products is always extremely advisable. Avoiding goods trasportation from distant places helps decresing trucks’ CO2 emissions, etc.
2. Purchasing fresh insted of frozen vegetables and porcesses products a large amount of energy beign necessary to manufacture them is saved.
3. Having season fresh fruits and vegetables saves on transportation related costs.
4. By purchasing products to local farmers we support them.
5. Having organic products as far as we can is highly advisable.
6. It is also highly advisable to have less meat. Methane is the second most significant gas and cows are the highest methane emissors. Their diet and multiple stomaches produce methane they exhale when breathing.
Our products are certified by Organización Internacional Agropecuaria and Each crop is certified as Kosher by the Chief Rabbinate of Agudath, Israel.
